What is somatic therapy?
Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach to healing that integrates physical awareness, movement, and mindfulness to address emotional and psychological challenges. It helps release tension, process trauma, and promote overall well-being by focusing on the connection between mind and body.
What you can expect
Dancing, stretching, moving, massaging, breathing, meditating, writing, hugging, etc. Sessions will accommodate each person’s needs and boundaries, which will be encouraged to be communicated at the beginning of the practice.
What to bring
A yoga mat and your full presence. Water, pen and paper will be available at the House.
